It was cold the next day and I was hoping I wasn't driving into another snowstorm!
The road was pretty empty - not even many trucks!
After driving 365 miles I stopped at the Pembina River Provincial Park. (Provincial Parks are like State Parks.) It was late by the time I drove 365 miles so I was so happy to find out there were still 2 sites available for the night! The provincial park attendant didn't say a word to me about using the facilities, wearing a mask, or leaving my trailer. (I think that could have been because the facilities meant the outhouses - there were no other facilities there! )
I took several walks. This was the view of the river looking downstream.
The was the view of the river looking upstream.
I had my kayaking shoes, so I walked to the island to look for rocks. The water was ice cold! Then I took a hike on one of the trails.
From the trail, I could see that the river was surrounded by forests.
I could look down at the river.
I could see the point where the Pembina River meets another river.
