Every Wednesday, there is a craft fair in Soldotna. I was surprised to find that macrame is back in vogue. There were several stalls selling macrame items. Items like plant hangers that I remember making during the last macrame phase. 

The Kenai River runs right through Soldotna. Most days you can see people fishing along its banks.

Back at Clam Gulch. Can you see the volcano in the distance?

You can see the mountains and the clouds lit up between the dark sky and dark ocean. 

There's a better view of the mountains and volcano and a fishing boat on the ocean.
