We went to a different place on the Kenai River to fish today because we were told the current wasn't so strong and the fish were being caught. But first we had to go down this steep set of stairs. The stairs are made of metal in a open pattern so that the vegetation beneath them is not as impacted as if the stairs were solid.
It was really beautiful there.
But there were so many fishermen there that after an hour of sitting on the bank waiting our turn, we decided to leave and go to our usual place.
