This is the beginning of the gravel road that leads down to the beach.
It usually has magnificent views of the ocean.
You can see that the road ends on the beach.
Almost all the photos in this post were taken at low tide.
The rocks are in the extreme right of the photograph.
The rocks at low tide.
I walked all around them.
Sometimes the rocks look like one big rock!
Now I'm back on top of the bluff.
I haven't said much about the trees in the campground. They are a mixture of pines, spruce, poplar, birch and cottonwood. They fill the inside of the campground circle and the areas on the outside of the road.Trees in the campground.
Trees on the outside of the campground.
This is Salmonberry. It is about 2 inches tall, but it's supposed grow 3 - 13 feet tall! It's supposed to grow edible berries. I'll watch it and see!I'm not sure of the name of this plant, but it is definitely a succulent. It was crawling around the ground. Those pink things look like flower buds.
Bunchberry Dogwood with pinecones.
This spruce is my favorite tree in the campground. You can see a bit of my trailer to the right of it.
