This is camping "Alaska" style at Clam Gulch. Campers just pull off to the side of the campground road and set-up their trailers.
Sometimes they turn and back-up - all in a row. These "campsites" do not have picnic benches, or fire-rings.
Tent campers, on the other hand, set up their tents in small meadows with picnic benches and fire rings
